Athanasios advises on European law, in particular the business regulation of the internal market, free movement of goods, the right of establishment and freedom to provide services and consumer policy.

He also advises on competition law, including on cartels, abuse of dominance and merger control and the law governing State Aid.

“I greatly enjoy advising on all aspects of corporate work including mergers and acquisitions and private equity. My main area of interest lies in competition law, since it has emerged from the sidelines of international transactions to become one of the main features of business regulation. I am very grateful for the professional and personal growth that I receive working at PotamitisVekris. I thoroughly enjoy the opportunity to apply my academic capabilities in a creative way within a challenging and dynamic international setting.”
