The offering closed on July 26, 2024. We proudly announce that we acted for Eurobank S.A. together with Milbank LLP and Ioannides Demetriou LLC for the purchase of a 26.1% stake in Hellenic Bank. Following completion of the transaction Eurobank has increased its holding in Hellenic Bank to 55.3%. Our involvement included legal support for the issuance of all required regulatory approvals and the submission of a takeover bid to the shareholders of Hellenic Bank. We proudly announce that we advised Alpha Bank and National Bank of Greece, acting as Joint Coordinators and Bookrunners, on the Initial Public Offering of Optima Bank. Through a very successful public offering, oversubscribed by 5.1 times, Optima Bank is the first credit institution to be listed on the Athens Stock Exchange after 17 years.
