Stathis has a broadly based transactional practice with a focus on mergers & acquisitions, corporate governance and insolvent restructurings. He led the effort to revamp insolvency legislation that resulted in the adoption of a new Greek insolvency framework in 2020. Stathis is an INSOL International Fellow, a fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy and a member of the International Insolvency Institute. He is a member of the expert group advising the European Commission on restructuring and insolvency reform in the EU. He is active in pro bono activities with an emphasis on the preservation of cultural heritage and the environment.
