Theodora’s practice is focused on civil and commercial litigation. She handles disputes which arise from a wide variety of financial and commercial transactions, in particular from lease, loan, distribution, agency and services agreements, as well as banking transactions. She also advises on breach of contract disputes and on the enforcement of property rights and security interests. In 2011, Theodora participated as an external researcher in a project commissioned by the DG Justice of the European Commission and run by RAND Europe, on the implementation of the Regulation creating a European Enforcement Order for uncontested claims, covering Greece and Cyprus.
“I enjoy litigation because it provides exposure to different industries and helps me gain an insight as to the way they operate. I am able to participate creatively in negotiations and contribute to the resolution of disputes. This experience is valuable, not only in terms of developing crisis management skills, but also in learning how to help pre-empt future disputes. I was drawn to PotamitisVekris because of its reputation, its impressive client base, the fact that it is one of the largest firms in Athens, as well as the opportunity to work within a highly experienced and qualified team.”
